Leeann Galloway • Stage Manager
Leeann has always enjoyed live theatre and is interested in the many elements that support stage productions. Leeann joined REP productions in 2021, working on the lighting crew for Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, followed by Arsenic and Old Lace, Home, I am Darling, Amadeus, Love Letters, Away, Bloody Murder, Baby Jane, sound crew for The Actress and Mr Bennet’s Bride, and stage crew for Dead Man’s Cell Phone. Leeann co-designed lighting for Sense & Sensibility (2022) and was the lighting designer for Blithe Spirit and Stage Manager for Spider's Web in 2025. Leeann is delighted to be back in the stage manager’s seat for Travelling North. It has been a pleasure working with Director Cate Clelland, a great cast and production team, and she hopes you enjoy the show!
Lottie Leahy • Assistant Stage Manager
Lottie is fairly new to theatre but participated in her school, Narrabundah College's production of Treasure Island in 2025 as Hair and Makeup Designer. She has since helped out at Mockingbird Theatre Company, where she was Stage Manager and Technical Operator for Shakespeare in Love, as well as Technical Operator for Vanya & Sonia & Masha & Spike. Lottie is thrilled to be working with REP for Travelling North. She is really enjoying working with local talents and learning a lot.
John Stead • Production Manager
John has had a varied involvement in theatre: acting, directing, lighting design, stage managing, and production management for Low Pay? Don’t Pay! And, now Travelling North. John returned to the stage with REP as the Naval Officer in Lord of the Flies and more recently as Dr Bradman in Blithe Spirit. Among his earlier acting credits for REP are: Tranio in Taming of the Shrew, Alan Strang in Equus, Lysander in A Midsummer Nights Dream, and Bernard in Death of a Salesman; for the Canberra Theatre Trust: Fred and the Spirit of Christmas Yet to Come in A Christmas Carol; for Canberra Philharmonic: Richard D’Oyly Carte in Tarantara! Tarantara! John has also performed on TV and radio. He is a great fan of McVitie’s Digestive biscuits, particularly the ones with dark chocolate.
Russell Brown OAM • Set Coordinator
Russell has been a member of REP for over 50 years, and in that time he has been involved in almost every aspect from President to performing, set design to set building, props making, furniture making, and tricky effects. With his dedicated team of builders and painters, he whiles away his time making magic for our audiences. He was recently named REP Living Treasure for his many contributions to the Society.
Wolf Hecker • Front of House Coordinator
Wolf was first elected to Council in 2012 and has remained a member of Council up to the present time having served five years as vice president from 2014 to 2019. During this time, he has filled the role of technical liaison on the board. Wolf has and remains an active member of Rep’s set construction team and has been involved in major renovations and upgrades to the theatre, including general maintenance to plant and equipment. As a member of Council, he has also been involved in staging major Rep events for fundraising and has dabbled in marketing, particularly to the aged care community, and contributes to Front of House coordination. Wolf remains a committed and active participant of REP and looks forward to seeing REP’s centenary in 2032.
