Sally Rynveld Delia

Originally from the UK, Sally’s first stage performance as Peter in Peter Pan (aged 6) marked the beginning of a lifelong passion for the theatre. Her first public performance, at the age of 19, was as Gigi in a production of Gigi by the French writer Colette at the Hampstead Theatre in London. Over the last 30 years Sally has performed at REP in numerous roles, including as Clara Popkiss in Rookery Nook, Sandy in The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, Jan in I’ll Be Back Before Midnight, Lady Teasel in A School for Scandal, Vi in The Memory of Water, and multiple roles (including Bob Cratchit and the Ghost of Christmas Present) in A Christmas Carol. In 2023 she received a CAT Award for Best Actress in a Featured Role in a Play for her performance as Mrs Graves in Mr Bennet’s Bride. Her most recent role was as Katherine in The Actress, for which she was nominated for a CAT Award for Best Actress in a Featured Role in a Play in 2024.

Rob de Fries Nick

Rob is also the coordinator and director of REP's own short play competition, The 'Logues.

Azerie Cromhout Jan

Bedroom Farce is Az's first production with Canberra Repertory, having previously been involved in a number of productions with Green Oak Theatre as an actress and on the production team. She has also worked as a costume coordinator and enjoys researching and construction of historical dress and textile arts. Born in South Africa — and now finding herself on two feet after six years in a wheelchair — she's never been one to shy away from an adventure, nor one to turn her nose up at a challenge. Currently a student of Anthropology and Archaeology, she has always held a deep love for storytelling.  Some of our audience might recognise Az from her gigs around town as the singer/song writer/guitarist SweetAz.

Lachlan Abrahams Malcolm

Lachlan took a couple of decades off theatre and recently came back to do Rep's last show Low Pay, Don't Pay.  He loved being back in the theatre community, so decided it would be fun to do a winter play in a Canberra summer ... maybe didn't think that one through?  Lachlan has commented that his character Malcolm reminds him of his dad's construction advice : "If everything else fails, read the instructions".

Antonia Kitzel Kate

Antonia has been involved with theatre since 2nd grade, when she played the baker's wife in The Baker's Dozen. While studying English & German literature & linguistics, she realised that exploring a character opens-up unique access to the written word, and theatre has been part of her life ever since. She tried to stop doing theatre after finishing Uni to become a serious adult but failed and soon found herself back on the stage. Favourite productions include (in Germany) Romeo & Juliet (Nurse), Blithe Spirit (Edith), Eleemosynary (Artie), The Vagina Monologues, Dickens by Candlelight (Narrator), Shakespeare Anyone? Fame & Fortune, and with REP Dr. Frankenstein (Mary), Arms & the Man (Catherine), To Kill a Mockingbird (Miss Maudie), The Governor’s Family (Helena Mountbatten), Bloody Murder (Lady Sommerset) and most recently Blithe Spirit (Mrs Bradman). Antonia has very much enjoyed working with this group of beautiful and talented humans and can’t wait to share this wonderfully whacky play with you all.

James Grudnoff Trevor

James is thrilled to play the role of Trevor in Canberra REP’s production of Bedroom Farce. This is James’ first role since graduating from college, where he was involved in a number of productions including Love and Information (2024), Afterlife (2024) and Little Women (2025), as well as performing the role of Toby in When He Cries (2025) with Green Oak Theatre. James is eager to broaden his experience, connection and love of the stage, and is becoming more involved with community theatres in Canberra; and indeed, has been cast in REP’s second production this year of Les Liaisons Dangereuses.  James is also planning to form an independent theatre company and start productions later this year.

Lara Connolly Susannah

This is Lara’s first production with REP.  Prior to her role in Bedroom Farce, Lara has participated in many productions with the National University Theatre Society (NUTS) and the Australian National University Shakespeare Society.  Lara’s interest extends beyond acting, with her recently producing the NUTS production of The Crucible (2025). She has also been the makeup artist for over ten amateur productions in Canberra. Although she hasn’t acted since 2024, when she played Lady Macbeth in the ANU Shakespeare Society’s production of Macbeth, she is thrilled to be returning to the stage. In preparation for the role of Susannah, Lara has been repeating her mantra at any available moment. If you hear strange muttering from behind the curtain, it’s probably her.
