Lydia Milosavljevic | Jane Austen
Lydia’s passion for performance bloomed at the age of six, when she sang her first solo at the Sydney Opera House in the Australian Girls Choir. Her love of performance strengthened in her debut as Annie in Annie with Phoenix Playersearning her a Canberra Area Theatre (CAT) Award Nomination in 2013. In 2021, Lydia played Maria in The Sound of Music, earning her a CAT Award and a Canberra Critics’ Circle Award. Lydia returned as Maria as part of Queanbeyan Players’ 2022 Encore Season. Other lead roles include Dorothy Gale in The Wizard of Oz, Morticia Addams in The Addams Family, Elizabeth Bennet in Pride and Prejudice, Meg March in Little Women, and Kat Hartland in the original musical Unrequited, composed by ARIA award winner Sally WhitwellLydia has also been an Assistant Director on Jasper Jones with Budding Theatre. Lydia is thrilled to be playing Jane Austen in REP’s production of Lizzy, Darcy & Jane

Dylan Hayley Rosenthal | Elizabeth Bennet
Born in Sydney and recently relocated to Canberra, Dylan Hayley Rosenthal is an accomplished performer with over 30 productions to her name across theatre, screen, and voice. She has trained with respected industry professionals including Tim Smith, Barry Quinn, Bobby Farquhar, and Jennifer Peers, developing a versatile, nuanced and expressive performance style. Dylan’s notable stage credits include Elphaba (Wicked), Mary Delgado (Jersey Boys), Esmeralda (The Hunchback of Notre Dame), and The Hunyak (Chicago). In 2019, she was awarded Broadway World's Best Supporting Actress in a Musical for her portrayal of Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof. Since moving to Canberra, Dylan has worked with The Street Theatre as part of the creative development of The Signal Makers. Beyond the stage, she has also lent her voice to AFTRS projects and appeared in independent film. And though it is a truth universally acknowledged that no actor can resist a good role, Dylan feels particularly delighted to find herself in the company of one, Elizabeth Bennet.

Sterling Notley | Mr Bingley / Harris / Mr Collins
Sterling Notley is excited to be making his REP debut with Lizzy, Darcy & Jane. He has portrayed Macduff in Shakespeare’s tragedy Macbeth; Roy in Louis Nowra’s Comedy Cosi; Sterling has also taken part in Musical Theatre with his role as Nathan Detroit in Guys and Dolls (Radford Theatre Company), a performance that earned him the Iain Sinclair Award for Excellence in Characterisation. Sterling’s performances in 2023 lead to him winning the Tony Harris Performer of the Year Award for Drama. Recently, Sterling has portrayed Food Prep in the world premiere of Work, But This Time Like You Mean It (Canberra Youth Theatre), the Boy in Waiting for Godot (The Street Theatre), and Fleance/Macduff’s Son in Macbeth (Lakespeare). Later this year, he will tour in Sydney reprising his role as Food Prep in Work, But This Time Like You Mean It (Canberra Youth Theatre).

Marco Simunec | Mr Darcy / Tom Lefroy
A multifaceted actor who has brought a wide range of characters to life in numerous short films, which have been featured in film festivals across the country, showcasing his depth, charm and adaptability. Marco Simunec has a remarkable ability to portray vastly different characters, moving seamlessly between personalities, emotions and eras, making each performance distinct and memorable. Marco made his stage debut early in 2025 as Jackson in The Forsaken. But now, he is set to make his REP debut, playing Mr. Darcy and Tom Lefroy in Joanne Norlands Lizzy, Darcy & Jane. These roles highlight his performance skill set that has now attracted productions from across the country.

Rachel Hogan | Madam Lefroy / Lady Catherine de Bourgh / Alethea
Lizzie, Darcy and Jane marks Rachel’s return to theatre after a 3 year hiatus. It is also her first time working with REP. In her previous  life, she was more commonly found on The Dark Side of the theatre, as a writer, director and dramaturg. Most of her time was spent with new work, her own and other people’s. Her occasional performances were mostly in short plays, usually when she had been spotted as someone who could conveniently play the love interest of her more celebrated husband. Rachel has also appeared in a few short films, most recently Peter Fock’s later-than-last-minute entry for Lights Canberra Action, and some radio plays, including Greg Gould’s upcoming Mr Death Gets a Life. Elaine Noon | Mrs Austen / Cassandra
2025 has been a big year for Elaine on the Rep stage. She’s just finished performing in A Doll’s House Part 2 as Anne Marie and as Madame Arcati in Blithe Spirit. All this following a wonderful 2024 where she performed in two Rep shows, Vic and other characters in Away and Mrs Gottlieb in Dead Man’s Cell Phone. In 2023 she performed in Canberra Youth Theatre’s The Trials as Defendant 3. In 2022, Elaine played Jock MacDonald in The Torrents for Mill Theatre, Mrs Higgins in Tempo Theatre’s Pygmalion and Marge in Hotel Sorrento for Rep. Prior to that, she played Penelope in The Penelopiad, a Crouching Giraffe production; Merridee in papermoon theatre’s production of Wicked Sisters and Helene in REP’s A Doll’s House. Elaine also performed in Trelawney of the Wells as Mrs Mossop; She Stoops to Conquer as Mrs Hardcastle; Ann Putman in The Crucible; Mrs Bradman in Blithe Spirit; Annie in Calendar Girls; Out of Order; Secret Bridesmaid’s Business; Lost in Yonkers and It Runs in the Family for REP. Elaine is also a regular voice actor on ArtSound Radio Theatre.
