Lucy van Dooren • Stage Manager
Lucy has been actively involved in Canberra’s theatre scene for several years. With a strong passion for live performance and storytelling, she thrives in creating seamless and engaging performances for all audiences. Lucy has worked with several local companies and across various roles backstage, including Stage/Prod manager, Stage crew, and Microphone Technician. Lucy has also dabbled in lighting and sound design and has operated both for several shows she’s worked on. Lucy has worked on “far too many” shows as a uni student, this being her 32nd show! She has had the privilege of working/learning from some wonderful and talented people, developing a versatile skill set that she brings to every show.
She is thrilled to be leading the stage management team for this production and hopes you enjoy the show!
Anne Gallen • Production Manager
Anne has been involved in most aspects of live theatre over the years. Having performed in a range of theatrical and musical productions and concerts, Anne also became involved in lighting design/operations and backstage crewing before her career took her away from Australia. After a lengthy hiatus she is happy to have the opportunity to be involved in the production side of live theatre. In addition to assisting with stage management, props and front-of-house, Anne has been the Production Manager for several of REP’s plays since 2021 and enjoys the opportunity this brings to see all the elements of a show develop and come together. She is enjoying working with the great team of people involved in bringing this production to REP’s audiences.
Russell Brown OAM • Set Coordinator
Russell has been a member of REP for over 50 years, and in that time he has been involved in almost every aspect from President to performing, set design to set building, props making, furniture making, and tricky effects. With his dedicated team of builders and painters, he whiles away his time making magic for our audiences. He was recently named REP Living Treasure for his many contributions to the Society.
Elizabeth Goodbody • Front of House Coordinator
Elizabeth started her earliest career as a classical ballerina but went on to become involved in most aspects of theatre, both musical and non-musical, on- and off-stage, for over 20 years. She was out of the picture for over 25 years while on postings overseas, but returned to assist REP in various Front of House activities, including Coordinator and Front of House Council Liaison.
