SYNOPSIS
A plane crashes. Eleven young boys stranded on an uninhabited island govern themselves to devastating ends. Faithful to the famous novel and a fable for our times.
A plane crashes on a desert island. A group of schoolboys are the only survivors. As they begin to form a new society in this tropical paradise, the darkness inside them shows how thin the layer of civilisation can be. William Golding’s classic novel is a powerful modern myth looking at humanity’s capacity for self-destruction. This adaptation captures the spirit and brutality of Golding’s original through bold and powerful theatricality.
