This year, we present to you Outlawed, created by eight law students and eight people who are really good at pretending that they study law. We are over the moon to invite you to a show all about lawyers ( known for their sense of humour ). This year’s show will take you back in time to ancient Rome, to your childhood, or if you are over 50 years old, both!  Shibaraku: Wait a Moment Presented By ANUZA ANU Za Kabuki is holding our 47th annual production, presenting “Shibaraku: Wait a Moment!” Famous for being one of the “famous Juuhachi-ban: the 18 Kabuki plays performed by the members of the Ichikawa family”, this is your chance to see it in Canberra! Book NowThe story of Shibaraku is set in front of the Tsuruoka Hachimangu shrine, where an evil aristocrat Kiyohara no Takehira has usurped power and taken as prisoners several imperial royals, including the prince Yoshitsuna and the princess Katsura no Mae. When it seems the bad guys have won and all hope is lost, a tremendous shout “Shibaraku! (Wait a moment!)” can be heard loudly from behind the agemaku curtain.
